Metaverse Fashion Week to Showcase Future of Commerce


The Immersive KIND, in collaboration with e-ternity, will host a fashion week on the Metaverse platform Decentraland from March 24-27.

Kadine James, CEO for The Immersive KIND, is spearheading ‘The Ultimate Seduction’ online fashion week. Additionally, London-based visual artist Zongbo Jiang and Creative Director and Co-founder at e-ternity, Xaioling Jin, are also participating in the event with an exclusive immersive fashion experience.

Threedium and Boson Protocol will also sponsor the digital event and provide technology solutions.

According to the firm, the online event marks the inaugural multi-day Metaverse fashion experience, and the landmark affair will explore the future of commerce, dissecting the link between fashion and technology to uncover digital alternatives that reduce resource consumption for a greener future.

The event will take place on Decentraland, a decentralised Metaverse platform that promotes eCommerce opportunities and marketing events with crypto and NFT integration. In addition, the platform supports diverse digital transactions with the platform-exclusive MANA cryptocurrency.

The Event

The four-day event digitally invites brands, designers, and fashion enthusiasts to Decentraland to watch the showcase, which takes place in the new Metaverse Fashion Week District.

Currently, numerous brands are showcasing digital articles that will soon have real-world duplicates for those purchasing items during the event. Some featured brands include Mortiverse, Deadfellaz, Lion, The Sevens, FangGang, and DKNY. Attendees can buy digital items with NFT vouchers via Boson Protocol’s digital eCommerce kiosk displays.

Furthermore, The Ultimate Seduction fashion event also features a VIP panel hosted by the Official Chair of the Metaverse Fashion Week, Cathy Hackl, demonstrating an early-stage version of Threediums 3D augmented reality (AR) engine for eCommerce and display campaigns. Likewise, the event features AR virtual try-on and exclusive wearable from The Ultimate Seduction couture collective for a users digital avatar.

The Immersive Kind is a digital fashion art studio focusing on Web 3.0 and Metaverse products, and e-ternity is creating sustainable immersive experiences for visual artists and brands.

The news comes after last year’s London Fashion Week took place as a hybrid event to reach global audiences following Covid-19 lockdowns. Matterport and Prada Venture assisted in delivering the famed event as an immersive experience to much acclaim.
