Lenovo Debuts ThinkReality VRX in UK


This Tuesday, leading up to this year’s massive AWE 2023 event, Lenovo unveiled its ThinkReality VRX headset for enterprise end-users is now available worldwide, notably for customers in the UK, starting June 2023.

Lenovo’s ThinkReality VRX system will debut on the marketplace for £1304. Moreover, Lenovo offers its product as a Device as a Service (DaaS) model via partner TruScale to provide enterprise end-users with financing and service models to scale the firm’s workplace XR solutions.

Vishal Shah, the GM of XR and Metaverse at Lenovo, added:

They need business-class solutions for the new realities of working in virtual environments and hybrid scenarios. We engineered the Lenovo ThinkReality VRX to be the VR solution of choice for training and collaborating in immersive 3D because that’s the future of work.

Lenovo: Enterprise-Grade XR and Metaverse Solutions

Lenovo designed its ThinkReality VRX headset to suit enterprise-grade XR and Metaverse services. The headset includes features to secure high-quality enterprise outcomes, such as 6DoF, Snapdragon® XR2+ Gen 1 processor, and full-colour MR pass-through.

Moreover, the design’s slim form factor enables enterprise end-users to use VR applications for extended periods. The device also incorporates a venting system that distributes heat away from a wearer’s face.

The ThinkReality VRX’s UK debut allows the region’s customers to partake in Lenovo’s ecosystem of enterprise-grade XR and Metaverse solutions, which includes hardware and software solutions like the ThinkReality A3 and leading mobile device management (MDM) platforms.

From its portfolio of Snapdragon Spaces partners, Lenovo is also able to provide a series of applications which suit a range of business use cases of its partners; some immersive firms include Glue, TaleSpin, Engage XR, XRHleath, Roundtable Learning, Strivr, TRIPP, Arthur, VictoryXR, Holo-Light, and Fundamental VR.

The Lenovo XR ecosystem enables enterprise clients to leverage soft and hard skills training ready for various vertical end-users in manufacturing, automotive, and healthcare. Moreover, according to the firm, its XR portfolio can assist clients in providing more practical and effective enterprise operations.

Finally, Lenovo’s ThinkReality VRX hardware comes with deep security considerations, allowing clients to handle sensitive company data on Lenovo immersive equipment confidently.
