ENGAGE Link Launches Early for HTC VIVE, Stanford Uni

0

Today, ENGAGE XR (extended reality) Holdings, a virtual reality (VR) immersive communications firm announced a significant partnership with HTC VIVE and The Virtual Human Interaction Lab at Stanford University to trial its upcoming ENGAGE Link metaverse service.

ENGAGE Link is due for release in Q4 of 2022. However, the firm is providing HTC and Stanford Uni with the Metaverse service, giving each “Launch Partner” access to a personalised online immersive environment for work and socialisation.

Additionally, ENGAGE Link enables participating groups to host custom virtual events in purpose-built “MetaWorlds” connected via portals that provide an immersive space to foster positive working and customer relationship environments.

A Snapshot of Things to Come

According to David Whelan, the CEO of ENGAGE XR, the firm’s Metaverse partner launch is a “quick snapshot” of things to come. The firm is rolling out further news and updates to support the launch of ENGAGE Link.

In addition to seamlessly linking use case-ready MetaWorlds via portals, the firm is soon introducing a “distributive economic environment” for firms building an eCommerce platform and “the future of work.”

The platform is persistent, meaning that the Link metaverse will unfailingly update itself and react to the inputs of onboarded individuals and firms.

Whelan also added:

“ENGAGE Link is the first time that our clients will have publicly accessible, always on, persistent locations to advertise their business and services directly to the general public and to potential clients.

Clients can build out their own unique metaverse for private company use or make it available to the wider world on ENGAGE Link or via their own website using our deep links system.

ENGAGE Link currently hosts roughly 160 major global brands and clients, including Hauwei, Erricson, the University of Oxford, the US State Department and many more.

Metaverse for Enterprise

The enterprise-focused metaverse service enables its launch partners to make MetaWorlds today suitable for stakeholder meetings and professional business dealings.

For ENGAGE, the partnership gives the immersive communications firm core insights into the actions of companies and education institutions employing Link, enabling the firm to update its service to best suit upcoming use cases for its launch.

ENGAGE also provides Virtual Campus, Virtual Office, and Virtual Events, three integrated sister solutions which help users identify the most suitable metaverse environment for their corporation.
